     11A common cause of "permission denied" or "Access denied" errors during a build on Windows is having a realtime virus scanner.  If you have a virus scanner turned on, try excluding the GHC build directory from realtime scanning if your virus scanner supports it, or otherwise disable the scanner while building GHC.  See [wiki:Building/Preparation/Windows].
