Description

I get a panic when compiling the attached files with "ghc --make test":

ghc: panic! (the 'impossible' happened)

(GHC version 7.6.3 for x86_64-unknown-linux):

nameModule a{v a14p}

P.S.: As I see it, there is a type error as the return value of the splice should be Q [Dec] but is Q Exp. However, I figure GHC shouldn't panic anyway.

This is fixed in the 7.8 release candidate (but I was able to reproduce for 7.6.3).

Thanks for reporting!
