Obviously I am doing something bad here, but still GHC tells me to report this as a bug...

$ ghci -ignore-package base

ghc: panic! (the 'impossible' happened)

This has been fixed somewhere along the way:

$ ghci -ignore-package base
GHCi, version 7.8.3:  :? for help
