Obviously I am doing something bad here, but still GHC tells me to report this as a bug...

$ ghci -ignore-package base
GHCi, version 7.6.2: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/  :? for help
ghc: panic! (the 'impossible' happened)
  (GHC version 7.6.2 for x86_64-unknown-linux):
