configure unsuccessful on binary build
I tried to install the nightly snapshot of the file ghc-6.7.20070820-i386-unknown-linux.tar.bz2
. I ran ./configure with just a --prefix option. I got the following output:
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
Which we'll further canonicalise into: i386-unknown-linux
checking for path to top of build tree... ./configure: line 1433: cd: utils/pwd: No such file or directory
./configure: line 1438: -v0: command not found
./configure: line 1441: utils/pwd/pwd: No such file or directory
configure: error: cannot determine current directory
