Add ability to install libraries bundled with ghc into separate prefixes
Currently, if I build an executable dynamically linked to 'base' and 'rts' with nix, I am forced to bring the ghc binary and, say, 'hoopl' along at runtime because these are all installed into the same prefix. Having options to indpendently specify output prefixes for each of the libraries would allow us to significantly decrease closure sizes.
Ben Gamari suggests this may be doable in the new Hadrian build.
