Cabal-install internal error with any use

Any attempt to use cabal-install fails with an internal error.

Used FreeBSD (9.1) port hs-haskell-platform and built with hs-colour support, LLVM (3.2) backend, and profiling enabled. Warnings were given that the version of LLVM used was untested, but no issues were apparent when compiling.

Since this error is exactly the same as the one in #8013 (closed), and that issue was closed 4 months ago mentioning "... haven't had a reoccurrence of the problem since.", I'm closing this one as well.
