It may not belong linked into this issue either, potentially its a general issue with via-C right now or just with cross compilation via-C. For now I'll leave it linked in until we get some more information.
I've added new data to #7620 (closed). It's not a QNX issue, it's just that the via-C method is making invalid C code for integer-simple.

(In #7942 (closed)) I'm not against working on this but first we need to have properly working x64-linux -> arm-linux cross-compiling tool chain on place which I'm not sure if it's working or not. So I mark this as blocking on #7623 (closed) for now.
